Graphic Laminates, a South African printer and converter, recently created suspended signage as part of the display for the 14th World Congress of Anesthesiologists at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in South Africa. X-Board was printed on using a flatbed printer and constructed into a box-shape. It was then attached to a stretch fabric and suspended from the ceiling to create a “comet” effect.

The lightness of the board meant that it was the perfect choice for this unique form of advertising. “X-Board was the selected product as it provided a lightweight rigid solution which allowed for easy conversion on our flatbed cutter. In addition, rigging was simple due to the lightness of the board”, said Garth Richards from Graphic Laminates.
