 DesignEX is the premier Australian exhibition for interior architecture and design. It offers a comprehensive showcase of new and innovative products, exciting features, prestigious awards and informative seminars and courses presented by leading industry professionals. This year marked the 20th anniversary of the exhibition. The show, held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, attracted 21 000 guests.
Xanita’s product was used on numerous booths at the show. In the Design for Sustainability Hall, CNC knife-cut X-Board was used for the 60 metre perimeter wall of the architect’s bookshop. Bookshelf units were constructed from 50mm X-Core pressed with 4mm MDF and ABET Laminati’s new recycled laminate “Tefor”.
Xanita’s products featured at several other exhibition stands, including the New Age Veneer’s booth, the prestigious Latitude showcase stand and the Design Institute of Australia’s (DIA) stand. Xanita’s X-Board showcase booth won the “Best Pre-Built Stand” award for the Form and Function part of the exhibition, following the theme “Saving the planet, one design at a time”.
