Lisa Lai, the president of Xanita USA, has been appointed to the Board of Councillors for The China-US Centre for Sustainable Development. The Board of Councillors provides strategic guidance for the Centre’s operations and leadership in the development of new initiatives.

The China-US Centre for Sustainable Development is an international public-private partnership focused on achieving results to accelerate sustainable development in China, the United States and the world. Their aim is to create sustaining enterprises, inspired by cradle to cradle principles that enable commerce, communities and nature to thrive in harmony.

William McDonough, Chair of the US Board of Councillors, said that he was delighted to welcome Lisa Lai to the Board, adding that: “Lisa’s deep understanding and relations with China, her passion for a sustaining future and commitment to the eco-design of products, will make an extraordinary contribution to the Centre.”
