Head Case uses X-Board

X-Board was used for Buro North’s Head Case exhibition, held at The Sofitel in Melbourne, Australia from 1-3 September 2008.

The exhibition aimed to display artwork by some of Australia’s brightest creative talents, drawing upon themes of loss and identity as experienced by those with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI). The exhibition aimed to raise awareness of this hidden disability.

Fifty-three pieces of X-Board were used as wall panels on which the artworks were hung. Dual Lock, supplied by 3M, was used to fix the panels to supporting strips of X-Board. Tom Allnut, a designer from Buro North, remarked: “The X-Board worked beautifully as an understated and cohesive canvas for hosting the artworks and held the bolts we chose for it extremely well.”
