Xanita team member competes at Sailing World Championship |
 Shaun Ferry, Xanita’s sales representative for the Western Cape, made his company incredibly proud with his recent performance at the second leg of the South African Sailing Championship, held in Langebaan, South Africa. Shaun returned from the second leg of the SA Championship with six first placements and two second positions. Shaun, who has won the World Championship three times previously and in 1995 received the State President’s Award from Nelson Mandela for outstanding achievement in sport, has now been made part of the official South African squad for the 2008 Sailing World Championship. This will be held in Langebaan from 3 to 8 March 2008. With the Xanita logo proudly displayed across his boat and sail, Shaun hopes to make the Top Ten in the Sailing World Championship finals.
