Xanita’s 16mm X-Board was recently used to produce stands for several Game stores in South Africa. The stands were created by Aerotrade, Johannesburg, who also manufacture bulkheads from X-Board for CNA Newsagencies.

X-Board was used to add thickness and better control over complex curves to a curved counter application. The board was laminated onto an MDF sub-structure which added extra strength and structure to the counter. By using X-Board as the core application, the finished product is lighter, rendering it easier to install and ultimately remove. The flexibility of the board provides better control over curves than MDF. Future plans include the use of X-Board in further Game stores’ as both a signage and display substrate.
